Man charged over Qld hospital assault

A man has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of a female hospital employee in Queensland.
Police allege the 52-year-old North Ipswich man entered the Ipswich General Hospital armed with a knife and sexually assaulted a female staff member before surrendering after being interrupted by another staff member on Sunday.
He is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday.
