Man charged for flag burning on Anzac eve

A 66-year-old man has been charged after allegedly burning the Australian flag in Brisbane's CBD on Anzac Day eve.
The man was arrested just after 1pm on Friday for a "breach of the peace".
He was taken to the watch-house and has now been charged with one count of public nuisance.

He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people are expected to flock to the city to take part in the dawn service and parade commemorations for Anzac Day.
