Man badly hurt in Queensland

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was discovered with serious head and facial injuries in Queensland.
The man, aged in his 40s, was found hurt in an apartment courtyard in Mackay on Monday night and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Police have begun an investigation to determine how he suffered the injuries.
