Man, 62, missing after fall into Qld river

A man is missing in north Queensland after falling from his horse into the Burdekin River.

The 62-year-old man was leading horses through the river on a private property at Ravenswood, southwest of Townsville, about 2pm on Monday when he fell into the water and disappeared.

Emergency crews are scouring the area.
