Murder charge over alleged Qld stabbing

A man has been charged with murder for allegedly stabbing another man in a dispute at a home south of Brisbane.

Police were called to a Marsden property just after 8pm on Friday after a 55-year-old was allegedly stabbed multiple times following an altercation with a man he knew.

The attacker fled.

Police said the victim died in hospital, while a 23-year-old man was arrested at a Springwood address shortly after.

He is due to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
