Man, 18, killed on quad bike in Qld

A man has died in a quad biking accident in Queensland's southwest.

An 18-year-old man was killed when the quad bike overturned on a stock route behind a hotel in Nindigully about 1pm on Sunday.

Shortly after, in a separate incident, a 50-year-old woman was killed when two cars collided near Maryborough, north of Brisbane.

Police say the woman, who was driving, was killed at the scene and her female passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The male driver of the other vehicle also suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations into both incidents continue.
