A major Queensland drug operation has resulted in 32 people being charged and drugs with a street value in excess of $1 million being seized.
Operation Papa Orthograde began in March this year and identified a number of people allegedly involved in a drug trafficking syndicate operating between Townsville and South East Queensland, police say.
Thirty-two people have been charged with 151 drug-related offences and are due to face Townsville Magistrates Court over the next month while police say drugs including ice, MDMA, cocaine and cannabis, as well as weapons and cash were also seized.
