Mackay woman's death not suspicious

A post-mortem has revealed the death of a woman whose body was found in a Mackay unit is not suspicious.

The 47-year-old was found on Monday at the property on Sophia Street in the city's south just before 7am and police set up a crime scene until a cause of death could be determined.

Police are now preparing a report for the coroner.
