Two people have walked away unharmed after a light plane crashed into a soccer pitch in Brisbane this morning.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of a plane crashing in the built-up area of Runcorn, in the city’s south.

The pilot and passenger have walked away unharmed.

There are traffic delays in the area as investigators clear the scene.
