Labor in last-minute Qld election blitz

Annastacia Palaszczuk has stepped up her last-minute election campaign blitz, even managing to visit three seats at the same time.

The Queensland opposition leader visited seven electorates on Wednesday and has campaigned in 13 since Monday.

She started Wednesday in Mackay, but only visited a local business for about 20 minutes before flying back to Brisbane.

In the Logan-based electorate of Waterford, Ms Palaszczuk made her major policy announcement of the day - $12 million over four years for 20 school nurses.

She then headed to a park opposite a TAFE in Mount Gravatt East to join supporters rallying against Newman government cuts.

It was there Ms Palaszczuk ticked off three seats at once, with her minders saying the park was on an electoral boundary, meaning she was "technically" in Greenslopes, Chatsworth and Mansfield at the same time.

"We're trying to get across as many electorates as we can," Ms Palaszczuk told supporters.

The opposition leader was then off to talk with disability workers in Nudgee before heading to Sandgate to protest against cuts at the Eventide aged care home alongside candidate Stirling Hinchliffe and former federal treasurer Wayne Swan.

She'd already been to Sandgate on Australia Day.

Ms Palaszczuk will have to get lot busier to trump her predecessor, former Labor leader Anna Bligh, who in 2012 visited 50 seats in five days in the dying days of her unsuccessful campaign.

Queenslanders go to the polls on Saturday.
