Qld teacher not guilty of raping colleague
AAP
A Queensland Catholic school teacher has walked free from court after a Gold Coast jury found him not guilty of raping his former partner and colleague.
The man, who cannot be named, was alleged to have threatened to expose the fact the woman had had an abortion if she did not stay in a relationship with him.
During a week-long trial in Southport District Court, he admitted threatening to reveal the abortion but said it was purely an attempt to prevent the woman terminating the pregnancy.
