Investigations over Qld boat accident

A man remains in a critical condition after two motorboats collided at a central Queensland dam on Saturday.

Police say the man, 54, and his female passenger, 30, were thrown from their boat when it struck a wave at Fairbairn Dam and spun suddenly into another boat.

They were struck by the other boat and were both airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
