Hunt for four wanted over Qld school fire

Police are seeking four people seen on CCTV leaving a Gold Coast school moments before one of its buildings erupted in flames.

The six-hour blaze late on Monday night destroyed the drama building of St Andrews Lutheran College at Tallebudgera.

The fire melted steel beams, with a damage bill reportedly in the millions.

Police believe the blaze was deliberately lit, with CCTV footage showing four people in the grounds when the fire started.

Police are reviewing more CCTV footage in the hope of determining their age and gender.

Investigators say it may take "some time" to determine the fire's cause.
