Huge Queensland croc put out to pasture
AAP
A 4.2-metre saltwater crocodile trapped in far north Queensland will be moved to a crocodile farm.
Wildlife rangers trapped the reptile on September 9 after multiple sightings near a boat ramp and restaurant at Dicksons Inlet in Port Douglas.
Under conservation laws the crocodile's size made it an 'icon crocodile' because of its significance to Traditional Owners, forcing authorities to find it a home at either a zoo or a registered crocodile farm.
