Hospital thief steals patients' bank cards

Queensland police are hunting for a man who has been stealing bank cards from elderly hospital patients and then withdrawing thousands of dollars from their accounts.

The man is wanted for a number of card thefts from hospitals on Brisbane's south side between April and August, including one incident where he withdrew $3000 from a 79-year-old patient's account shortly after taking her handbag from her hospital bedside table.
