Horse dead, owner burnt after stable fire

A man has suffered minor burns while trying unsuccessfully to save his horse from a stable fire in central Queensland.
The dressage horse was inside the stable when the blaze broke out just after midnight on Tuesday in Calliope.
Police say it's unclear what started the fire and have declared the site a crime scene.
