Gun fired during fight on Gold Coast

A man has been arrested after a gun was fired during a public fight on the Gold Coast.

A police spokeswoman said a group of men were involved in an altercation at a park on Jacob Drive at Labrador on Sunday afternoon.

"A firearm was produced and one shot was fired," she told AAP.

"They fled the scene in a vehicle."

Police have taken a man into custody they believe was involved in the incident and he is assisting with their inquiries, the spokeswoman said.

No charges have yet been laid.

No one was injured during the incident.
