Gun, ammo found in car on Gold Coast

Police have found a gun and ammunition after pulling over a Gold Coast motorist for a traffic offence.
Officers stopped the car at Bundall about 9pm on Thursday, and spotted the ammunition. A gun was found in a subsequent search of the vehicle.
A 30-year-old man will face the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday on weapons charges.
