Gold Coast man charged over ice racket

A Gold Coast man will front court on Monday, accused of playing a role in a major ice-trafficking ring.

The 53-year-old is facing 77 charges for his alleged part in a criminal syndicate that's been producing and distributing methylamphetamine in Sydney and on the Gold Coast.

He's the fourth person to be charged in a long-running investigation by Queensland's Crime and Corruption Commission, codenamed Operation Gloss.

The man will front the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with trafficking, producing and supplying methylamphetamine in the Gold Coast region.
