Driver abandons car after fast food road rage crash

A driver is on the run after crashing at a drive-through restaurant on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
Police are looking for the driver of the brown Nissan Patrol which smashed into another vehicle while trying to leave the take-away.

The driver left their vehicle behind.
Police say they have the car.
They were called to the Guzman y Gomez restaurant on Laver Drive in Robina at 9.45pm yesterday.
They were told the driver became impatient and tried to leave.
Police say the driver rammed the car in front, causing a lot of damage, and got stuck.

That motorist was treated for minor injuries.
The Nissan driver allegedly got out and threatened the other driver with a screwdriver.
He then walked off, abandoning the car.
Police are appealing for footage and witnesses and called on the driver to get in touch.
