Gold Coast casino master plan released
AAP
A 700-room tower could be built for Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast as part of a multimillion-dollar upgrade, with construction starting as early as 2017.
The Star Entertainment Group announced on Monday that information sessions would be held about a proposed new 200-metre high hotel and apartment tower, which could take the casino's $345 million redevelopment to up to $850 million.
The master plan "provides for future development options potentially worth multiple billions of dollars", with up to five hotel buildings, tropical gardens and new entertainment facilities, the company said in a statement.
