Girl charged over Qld stabbing

A 14-year-old girl has been charged after allegedly stabbing a young man in the chest in central Queensland.

Police found the injured 21-year-old after being called to a disturbance at a Maryborough home just after 5am on Monday.

The girl was charged with wounding and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

The man was taken to Maryborough Hospital in a stable condition.
