UPDATE: Missing six-year-old Brisbane girl found safe and well

Police say they have found a young Brisbane girl safe and well after she was believed to have been abducted from her school.
The six-year-old was taken from Ascot State School and wasn't seen for more than five hours.

After a huge public appeal, police confirmed around 8pm (AEST) she had been located.
Queensland police thanked the public and the media for their assistance.
