Missing 13-year-old Queensland girl found safe and well

Police have located a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing on the Gold Coast earlier today.
The teenager went missing around 8.15am yesterday in the suburb of Mermaid Beach.
"The 13-year-old girl missing from Mermaid Beach has been located safe and well," Queensland Police said in a statement.
