Qld man dies in truck and train crash

A man has died in a crash between a freight train and a truck in north Queensland.

The 66-year-old man was driving a truck filled with cane harvesting equipment when it was a struck by the train in Pindi Pindi in the Mackay region on Tuesday morning.

The female train driver was uninjured but treated for shock at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident.
