A man, a woman and two teenage girls have been charged after police broke up a brawl involving about 70 people in Brisbane's south.

Police were called to a community club in Willawong on Tuesday night on reports of a violent disturbance.

It's alleged more than 200 people were at the club, and around 70 of them were involved in a brawl when officers arrived.

Police broke up the fight and shut the event down.

Officers were later called to a number of other incidents on nearby King Avenue, police say.

A 20-year-old man was charged with public nuisance, obstruct police and possession of tainted property and is scheduled to appear before the Richlands Magistrates Court on June 9.

An 18-year-old woman was issued with a notice to appear in relation to obstructing police and contravening a direction and is due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Two girls, aged 15 and 16, will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act in relation to offences of public nuisance and obstructing police.
