Five to face Qld court on drugs charges

Queensland police have charged five people on drug offences after seizing $350,000 worth of cannabis in raids south of Brisbane.

The arrests came after Logan police raided two properties where they allegedly found 63 marijuana plants and 4kg of dried cannabis, as well as methamphetamine, MDMA tablets and restricted prescription medication.

Two Tenah Merah men, aged 44 and 22, are expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court to face drugs charges.

Two women, both aged 18, and a 20-year-old man are also set to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on June 30 on charges of drug and utensil possession.
