Firefighters battling blaze on Qld island

Firefighters have urged residents on an island off Brisbane to close windows and doors as smoke billows from a vegetation fire.
Crews are battling to contain the blaze on Russell Island, which broke out around 9am (AEST) on Wednesday.
Firefighters have begun putting in firebreaks and have urged residents to stay hydrated and bring their pets inside.
