AAP
Residents from a supported accommodation facility on the Gold Coast have been evacuated after a fire tore through the building, causing part of it to collapse.
It took firefighters under an hour to bring the blaze under control at Cotlew Manor on Tuesday morning.
Residents were safely evacuated before a large part of the building collapsed, a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said.
