Fire engulfs truck on Brisbane freeway

Brisbane firefighters have managed to put out a fire that engulfed a semi-trailer at Wishart today.

The truck burst into flames earlier this morning on Mount Gravatt Capalaba Road.

It is believed the blaze started in the truck’s cabin and quickly spread.

The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries as he leapt free from the burning truck.

Firefighters quickly descended on the scene and managed to put the blaze out in several minutes.
