Firefighters are still battling at least three blazes amid high temperatures and dry conditions across Queensland.

The most challenging fire for emergency services is a large grass fire at Wivenhoe Pocket, which broke out on Monday afternoon.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services says 11 firefighting crews and water-bombing aircraft are trying to bring the blaze under control.

Meanwhile, seven crews are building firebreaks and back-burning in an effort to contain a large bushfire in North Gregory, southwest of Bundaberg.

Other crews are currently at a bushfire at Bluewater, northwest of Townsville.

They were still monitoring the fire, which wasn't posing a risk to homes, at 7.30pm AEDT.
