Fears for mother, toddler missing in Qld

A mother and her toddler have gone missing from Queensland's Darling Downs region, sparking a police search.

The last confirmed sighting of Angela Pearce, 40, and her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter was about 11.30am on Tuesday, at a home in Crows Nest, north of Toowoomba.

Police issued an urgent public appeal for help to find the Taiwanese mother and her child late on Wednesday, saying they hold concerns for their safety and wellbeing.
