Fatal traffic crash in north Qld

An eight-month-old baby and a woman have survived a crash in north Queensland that has claimed the life of their driver.
The vehicle in which the three were travelling early on Thursday evening drove off the Bruce Highway at Mount Ossa, north of Mackay, and rolled.
A 45-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The baby and female passenger have been taken to Mackay Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
