Distraught relatives of a Queensland man who went missing last month have made an emotional public appeal for information.

Leslie Shulze, 69, was last seen at the Yaralla Sports Club in Gladstone around 12.45pm on June 19 and has not been heard from since.

Mr Shulze's sister Faye Ferry on Tuesday pleaded for him to contact his family and urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact police.

"Les, if you can hear this, we love you," she said.

"If you can get to a phone, please ring us or please come home."

Detective Acting Inspector Paul Elliott said Mr Shulze's disappearance was out of character and there were concerns for his welfare.

"He has not honoured any of his social commitments from the 19th of June, he has not contacted his family, friends or associates," he said.

Further forensic investigations will be carried out at this home on Tuesday.
