Explosive materials found at Qld home

Police have destroyed a bottle containing an explosive material at a home north of Brisbane.

An exclusion zone was set up in streets surrounding the Kallangur home after the item was discovered on Tuesday.

Detectives located the explosives during a drug raid of the home and have now destroyed the explosives.

A man in his 40s is assisting with the investigation.
