Exclusive school punishes boys over sexually suggestive prank video

Two students from an exclusive Gold Coast boys school have been disciplined over a prank video played at their recent formal.

The footage produced by students at The Southport School was shown during a function at a hotel in Surfers Paradise last month.

It's understood a parent complained about the content after discovering their child was featured in the video.

The school's deputy headmaster Alan Parsons said disciplinary action had been taken against two students.

"An unsanctioned and inappropriate video was shown at the 2015 school formal in May," Mr Parsons said in a statement.

"We take matters such as this seriously and the school acted swiftly to address the issue."

The specifics of the clip were not clear, but other videos uploaded by former students are still online.

One entitled "TSS 2013 Formal Video" posted on YouTube features students discussing their immense appeal to female peers.

"Well ... I'm a swimmer," one explains.

"Swimmers like to go in hard and come out wet."

Another complains he's got so much feminine interest, he'll have to "palm some off to less fortunate kids".

When asked why he was in demand as a formal partner, one students said, "I think it's my big, ahem, brains", Daily Mail Australia reported.

The school, which commands fees of up to $20,000 a year, said the video did not reflect the school's values.
