Ex-Qld bikies jailed over drugs charges

Two former Gold Coast Rebels bikie gang members have been jailed for their involvement in a drug trafficking ring.

Jyden John Kirkpatrick was sentenced to 10 years' jail after pleading guilty to three charges, including importing drugs, while Jed Curtis Leggett, who faced one drugs charge, was sentenced to four years in the Supreme Court in Brisbane on Tuesday.

The pair were arrested on the Gold Coast last year in connection to a multi-million dollar Rebels drug ring accused of importing amphetamines into Queensland and Tasmania from the UK.
