Escapee in stand-off with Qld police

A man who escaped custody from a court house on the Sunshine Coast is now in a stand-off with police.
The man ran from the Maroochydore Magistrates Court about 2.30pm on Monday and was located about 4pm on the roof of a building on First Avenue, Mooloolaba, police say.
Police, who are negotiating with the man, are unable to say what charges he was facing when he escaped custody.
