Elderly Qld woman hit and dragged by car

An elderly Brisbane woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a car and dragged down the road.

Police said the crash happened at a pedestrian crossing in Aspley, about 10.30am on Tuesday.

The 87-year-old was dragged a short distance by the car, and was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious injuries.
