Early-morning swimmer drowns off Kings Beach in Caloundra

A 70-year-old man has drowned after going for an early morning swim at a Sunshine Coast beach.
The man was spotted at Kings Beach in Caloundra and paramedics tried to revive him but were unsuccessful.
"We're saddened to hear reports of a drowning at Kings Beach early this morning," Surf Life Saving Queensland posted on Twitter.

"Always swim between the flags during patrolled hours."
