Duo in court for bus attack on elderly man
AAP
Two women charged with seriously assaulting an elderly, vision-impaired man on a Gold Coast bus will be sentenced on Wednesday.
Lawyers for Layni Cameron, 17, and Larna Watmough, 21, have previously told the Southport Magistrates Court the pair will plead guilty to the high-profile attack on 77-year-old Paul Buttigieg on a bus in Kirra in February.
The two women handed themselves in after footage of the incident, recorded by another passenger, went viral and was passed on to police.
