Duo charged after violent home invasion

Two men have been charged over a violent Brisbane home invasion in which an elderly woman was allegedly dragged through her house.

The 87-year-old was attacked earlier this month when two men with covered faces broke into her Wynnum West home.

It's alleged one dragged her into a room as they ransacked and robbed the home.

Police on Wednesday charged a 17-year-old Waterford West and a 28-year-old Woodridge man over the incident.

They've been charged with multiple offences, including robbery in company and deprivation of liberty.

The teenager was scheduled to front Cleveland Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon.

The older man is expected to appear at the Wynnum Magistrates Court on Thursday.
