Drugs, guns seized in Qld bikie raid

Police say about 10,000 drug hits won't reach the streets following a raid targeting Brisbane's Bandidos bikies.

Fireworks, guns and more than $50,000 in cash were also uncovered when taskforce officers raided a property in the city's north on Wednesday morning.

They found drugs with a total street value of about $650,000, including 1kg of ice, steroids and cannabis.

A 42-year-old man, described by police as a "close associate" of both the Hells Angels and Bandidos, has been charged with a raft of offences.

Detective Inspector Brendan Smith said the seizure will hit the criminal networks where it hurts - in their back pockets.

"It has potentially removed over 10,000 hits from reaching the streets," he said.

The 42-year-old is expected to front Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon.
