Drug car runner to stay in jail

A Gold Coast man who ran from police after they pulled over a car allegedly carrying more than a kilogram of cannabis will stay in jail until at least November.

Dylan Hines, 24, is accused of trespass, obstructing police, two counts of drug possession and possessing a weapon after running from the car in the suburb of Molendinar last month.

Hines did not appear during a brief mention of his case at Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday and has been remanded in custody with his case adjourned until November 10.
