Dead cat found in burning bag in Qld

A burning bag with a dead cat inside has been found in Brisbane's southeast.

Police are investigating a case of possible animal cruelty after passing officers discovered the smoking bag just after 6.30pm a week ago in Capalaba.

It's not yet known if the cat was dead before the bag was set alight, who owned the feline or if it's a case of animal cruelty.
