Crude device found at Qld shopping centre

Police have found a crude explosive device at a shopping centre in the Gold Coast hinterland.
Officers who responded to an alarm found an ATM smouldering at the Mudgeeraba centre just before 1am on Monday.
Specialist police from the Explosive Ordinance Response Team made the scene safe and no cash was taken from the machine.
