AAP
A woman who was allegedly behind the wheel of a car that crashed into a Gold Coast seafood shop on Good Friday was five times over the legal blood alcohol limit, police say.
The 50-year-old is accused of crashing into the shop at Broadbeach, narrowly missing staff before the car came to a stop against the front counter.
Police say the woman returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.25 per cent and have issued her with a notice to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on June 5 on offences relating to driving unlicensed and under the influence of alcohol.
