Cops investigate vandalism on mosque site
AAP
Police will not confirm whether toy pigs with anti-Islamic slogans were thrown at the site of a proposed mosque on the Gold Coast.
Detectives are investigating graffiti and vandalism allegedly carried out at the Currumbin Waters site sometime last month.
Salsabil Charitable Organisation has appealed against the Gold Coast City Council's refusal to approve its application to develop a warehouse on the site as a mosque.
