Committal hearing in Blackburn murder

The man charged with murdering Mackay woman Shandee Blackburn as she walked home from work will face a committal hearing this week.
John Peros is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend, 23, to death as she made her way home from her workplace in the Queensland city on February 9, 2013.
A committal hearing, set down for five days, is due to begin in the Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday.
