1964

April 11 - Police arrest two people over jewellery store robberies. Vincent Raymond Allen, 22, has acted as an informant in the case.

April 18 - Mr Allen was last seen alive in a vehicle driven by a known associate.

1975

Vincent O'Dempsey interviewed by police in relation to Mr Allen's suspected murder.

1979

O'Dempsey interviewed again by police over the death.

1980

February - O'Dempsey gives evidence in an inquest into Mr Allen's death.

April - The coroner concludes Mr Allen was deceased and the death had likely occurred in the Warwick area. His body has never been found.

2018

Police begin a new review of evidence and forensic details relating to the case, and re-interview O'Dempsey.

2019

July - Police offer a $250,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the case.
